Undergraduate Admissions

When we say we take a personal approach to the admission process, we mean it! Our Undergraduate Admissions Counselors are here to help you gain a personal perspective on the university and all it has to offer.

Sign up online for any one of our daily information sessions and find out why the University of Georgia is consistently rated as one of America's "Best Colleges" among public universities. Our Undergraduate Admissions Counselors are well-informed about UGA and ready to answer any questions you may have about admission requirements, residential life, dining services, scholarships, financial aid, campus life, and costs. The Undergraduate Admissions First-Year Information Sessions, held in Terrell Hall, begin at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and usually last one hour.

Please note that a Campus Tour reservation does not include an information session reservation and vice versa. Visitors must select each event individually when registering online.

Transfer students

If you are currently or were previously enrolled at another college and are interested in transferring to UGA, we suggest you attend one of our Undergraduate Admissions Transfer Information Sessions, which are held every Friday at 12:00 p.m. in Terrell Hall. These small, informal sessions will give you the opportunity to speak with a Transcript Evaluator about our transfer process and policies.
